Recipe of the Month

gz03CvmMy name is Clark W. and have I got a recipe for you! It’s currently my second month here at Casting Networks and I’ve been enjoying every second. I play drums and enough bass to get by, but my real passion is the guitar. The best time of my life was spent building backpacking trails in northern New Mexico. The reason for this was the food. It was during that time that I learned how to cook the juiciest steak.

 

Pan Fried Steak & Veggies

Ingredients:

  • 1 steak (cut of your choice)
  • ¼ of a stick of butter
  • 1 ½  tsp of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
  • ¼ onion (diced)
  • ¼ Bell Pepper (diced)

Directions:

  1. Cut beef into cubes about 1.5 in. x 1.5 in. x the thickness of the steak.

  2. Melt ¼ of a stick of butter in an empty frying pan on a stovetop (high heat).

  3. Add all of the cubed beef.

  4. Cook the meat ½ of the way while continuously stirring.

  5. Add all of the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Pour 1 ½ tbs of vegetable oil over ingredients.

  6. Continue stirring until fully cooked.

Best served over white rice with soy sauce. Sriracha is also tasty when desired.
