About the Job

We’re casting Dave, a classic caveman who has somehow survived into the modern world. He should be instantly recognisable as a caveman, hairy, rugged, and rough around the edges, with a beard being non-negotiable. This is an intentionally classic caveman archetype, but he should still appear healthy and well-kept, reflecting Best of the Bone’s positioning as a health-conscious brand. Dave exists in today’s world but hasn’t evolved stylistically. His physicality and presence should feel authentic, grounded, and believable. Strong, expressive face Comfortable performing and reacting Natural comedic timing Good physical awareness and movement Feels believable rather than theatrical Acting ability is critical. We’re looking for someone confident in performance, natural timing and a sense of humour This matters more than polish.
